The role
You are our eyes and hands on site, every day. You coordinate the contractors, keep the site safe, organised and on programme, and make sure everything is built as designed. You start on IN Budapest in District VII (Buildings B and D), then move on to our next sites.
What you'll do
- Coordinate contractors and trades on site every day, especially where several contractors work side by side
- Plan and sequence works with contractors; track daily and weekly progress against the programme
- Check workmanship and materials against the drawings and approved samples; raise defects and follow them up
- Manage the interfaces between existing, completed works and new works
- Site organisation: logistics, deliveries, access, storage, cleanliness
- Health and safety: enforce site rules and coordinate with the safety coordinator
- Keep site records: daily log, photos, delivery notes, measured quantities; support entries in the e-építési napló
- Check contractors' quantities for monthly progress claims
- Run snagging rounds and support the technical handover of the Building B apartments to buyers
- Report daily on progress, problems and decisions needed
What we're looking for
Must have
- A technical qualification in construction (degree or technician level)
- 5+ years as a site manager or deputy site manager on residential or commercial buildings
- Practical knowledge of structural works, finishing works and MEP coordination
- Confident reading drawings; comfortable with Excel and site documentation
- Firm with contractors, reliable and solution-oriented
- Fluent Hungarian; driving licence (category B)
Nice to have
- Felelős műszaki vezető (responsible technical manager) licence
- Basic English
